The Mount Panorama Circuit, commonly referred to as Bathurst, is a 3.86-mile long racetrack located in Bathurst, Australia. It is widely regarded as one of the most challenging and iconic tracks in the world, and has been a mainstay of Australian motorsport for many years. The track features a unique layout that winds its way up and down the steep slopes of Mount Panorama, with a mix of fast straights, sweeping corners, and tight hairpins. The most famous section of the track is the series of high-speed corners that make up the top of the mountain, known as “The Cutting” and “The Esses”. The circuit also features a long straightaway, known as Conrod Straight, which offers drivers the opportunity to reach top speeds of over 180 mph.
