In 2022, Red Bull and Verstappen.com joined forces to create Verstappen.com Racing X Red Bull. The initiative fueled by Max Verstappen’s passion for motorsport and desire to create a platform to bring different forms of motorsport together under one umbrella. The partnership with Red Bull is a direct result of the close relationship between Max and Red Bull, a relationship that is ever-growing into the future.
Max’s passion is bringing together racing projects from both the virtual and real world, creating a platform that is of interest to all different types of motorsport fans. Max’s interest in motorsport spans beyond just Formula One, which was the brainchild behind this project, to incorporate and expand the Verstappen name past Formula One and into GT3 racing, Rallying and Virtual Racing.
The Verstappen.com partnership with Red Bull is clearly visible in the co-designed logo, which incorporates the brand identities of both, symbolising the close relationship between Max and Red Bull.
Verstappen.com Racing’s mission is to integrate racing teams from both the virtual and real world and support these teams and drivers to maximize their potential.
Max Verstappen
As the co-founder and driving force behind Verstappen.com Racing, Max Verstappen is a triple Formula One World Champion. With his back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022, he has become part of a very select group of Formula 1 drivers in history while he is only just 25 years old. He is continuously breaking records in the pinnacle of Motorsport.
Team Redline
What started as a hobby 20 years ago has grown over time into the most successful simulator racing team in the world. In 2022, Team Redline had yet another successful year, both on and off track. Under the guidance of Max Verstappen, Team Redline has made investments into creating an off-track image that represents their on-track image.
Team Redline has developed their HQ in Tilburg, into a state-of-the-art simulator racing facility, hosting top-of-the-line simulators, Max’s personal race-worn memorabilia, and Red Bull Branding. Team Redline’s image of performance and perfection is now translated into their HQ, with much more to come in the coming years.
Jos Verstappen
Over 2022, Jos has re-discovered his love for racing in Rallying. After a successful first year of learning a new discipline, Jos has decided to pursue another season in rallying, continuing to build on his success of his maiden season. In 2023 Jos Verstappen will continue competing for Verstappen.com Racing. He will be racing in a selection of races of the Belgium Rally Championship.
Thierry Vermeulen
With only three years of experience in professional racing, Thierry has had a steep learning curve in racing, showing progression race by race. In 2022, Thierry competed in the ADAC GT Masters Championship, recognised as one of the most competitive GT3 championships in the world. Despite being thrown into the deep end, Thierry took each race as it came and continued to build on his experience throughout the year.
In 2023, Thierry Vermeulen will rise to the challenge and contest the DTM championship, one of the world’s leading touring car championships. The 20-year-old Dutch driver, competing under the banner of Verstappen.com Racing, has signed with Swiss Team Emil Frey Racing. In a brand-new Ferrari 296 GT3, Thierry will not only compete in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM), but also make his appearance in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup (GTWC Sprint), bringing his racing season to thirteen weekends.
