Thierry:

"Magny-Cours is a race track I haven't driven before. It will be a bit tricky to get used to the track, but from the sim work I have done there, and the onboards I have seen so far, it looks like a fun track. It is very fast and very technical and one thing we can see if we watch different series drive there, is track limits will be very hard as you always want to push as much as you can, but on tracks like this that are designed for moto gp with very flat curbs with lots of runoff, it will be difficult to stay within the track limits. That is something to focus on, and luckily we will be testing before the race so I hope we can have a good performance here. "

Thierry:

"Hockenheim always feels like a good race weekend, it’s hard to explain. It might be the fact it’s often the final round, or that it’s close to my home town or maybe its just the simple layout that makes you push for that very last bit to make the difference with the others. My favorite part is the last sector as there is such a small line between getting it perfect and being half a second off, this makes it feel super nice once you get the flow right. Definitely looking forward to this race."

Thierry:

"I am very happy to go back and finally race on this amazing track. I think it is a very flowing track, where the rhythm is very important, and you have to be very precise on how you position the car to have a good flow and, eventually, a good lap time. I think also for racing it will be very exciting, as you have some low-speed corners and high-speed corners which makes it exciting with GT World Challenge. Misano is a Moto GP track, so you have a lot of very flat curbs, so track limits will be key. I am really looking forward to this one."

Thierry:

"I am excited to kick off the season here, and of course, I have now done many laps of testing at Brands Hatch on the simulator, along with certain preparations with the team to maximise the performance going into the weekend. So far, I really like the layout, I think it is a very old-school track with no runoff. The elevation change in some sections of the track makes it extra tricky, and that is what I like, it is very rewarding when you get it right, but alternatively, when you get it wrong it is the end of the session. Really looking forward to this one and kicking off the GT World Challenge season here."
