Once a classic road racing circuit behind the Iron Curtain, today’s Sachsenring has been transformed into a modern arena where the world’s best motorcycle riders can once more do battle in front of an enthusiastic crowd. The ADAC GT Masters has been taking place at this small technical track for many years.

Sachsenring is a track that I fell in love with last year. The long flowing high-speed corners with its tight and twisty first section make it one of the most enjoyable tracks I have driven. This is an old-school track with no run-off, leaving no margin for error. Battling here is challenging but there are nice overtaking opportunities and lots of action. Let's hope we can perform well and give everyone a nice race.
